Discovering the root driver of actions and relationships is a critical part of the journey as a stretcher as well as a cancer researcher. Much like the unique voyage of one's body and mind through the practice of yoga and Pilates, the National Foundation for Cancer Research follows the path of distinct molecular variables that can create and prevent cancer. In our respective practices we address the important issues at the source, uniting us to work together on the Stretch to the Cure.

Let's make a difference together on and off the mat! Check out the links below to learn more about cancer prevention and detection.

Join us for a Baby Blessings Shower for CHY co-owner and yoga teacher Betsy Poos and CHY Pilates teacher Erin Carnahan on Saturday, October 2 at the studio from 4:00 - 5:30pm.

What is a blessings shower? We all write a blessing or bring a small amulet for Betsy, Jason, and their baby girl and for Erin, Andrew, and their baby girl. There will be blessing bowls for each family which we will give to them to consult over and over again during the joys and challenges of parenthood. If you aren't able to come to the blessings shower, please send your blessing to marianna@capitolhillyoga.com and she will add it to the blessings bowls for you.
