Anji KeatingAnji Keating

Anji Keating is excited to have joined the welcoming family at Capitol Hill Yoga, and to be a part of the community on the Hill. In her role as Studio Manager, you will find Anji warmly greeting students in the studio lobby, answering questions, and keeping the studio space tidy and comfortable. She can also be found deepening her own yoga practice in classes and workshops, and is thrilled to be a part of CHY's first Immersion. Off the mat, she works as a freelance Writer-Editor, enjoys dreaming up new creations in her kitchen, and especially loves sharing quality time with her husband Mike, son Max, and their three tabbies.

Jason PoosJason Poos

When Jason met CHY's co-owner Betsy Poos in 2003 he didn't know he would also be entering his own yogic journey. Jason has built up a lifetime of good karma in his role as Director of Marketing for Capitol Hill Yoga. Although he still counts cheering on the local sports teams and jamming on his guitar as favorite past times, you can also find him enjoying the stretch, strength and calming peace of an asana practice. During the day, Jason works to make his clients happy as Director of Marketing for Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications.

Jeff DeGrasseJeff DeGrasse

After earning a Ph.D. in chemical biology at Rockefeller University in New York City, Jeff moved to DC accepting a job at the US FDA, which is where he met his loving wife Stacey. Jeff decided to try one of Stacey's yoga classes and quickly became a regular to her early Sunday morning yoga classes, finding that it brings a healthy balance and perspective to his whole week. You will find Jeff lending a hand at the studio, but most of his most important contributions are behind the scenes. He brings a different perspective to the team, contributes new ideas, and serves as a valuable information technology resource. Jeff enjoys sailing on the Potomac (with DC Sail) and exploring all that DC has to offer. While Jeff has dabbled with many hobbies over the years, currently the challenge of creating and maintaining saltwater aquariums has captured his interest.

Jennifer ParsonsJennifer Parsons

Jennifer is so happy to be a part of the Capitol Hill Yoga community. She started practicing yoga in September 2011 to help with a knee injury and compliment her running, and fell in love with the practice and the welcoming supportive community at CHY. In her day job, Jennifer is a Scheduler in the Senate and finds Yoga to be a much needed calming balance to her job in politics. She also loves to travel, cook, play tennis, and peruse Eastern Market on the weekends with a cup of Peregrine coffee.
