Capitol Hill Yoga Welcomes New Teachers Kelly Fisher and Katie Myer
MARCH 10, 2011 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Betsy and Stacey are thrilled and honored to announce that Kelly Fisher and Katie Myer have joined the regular teaching staff at Capitol Hill Yoga.
Kelly Fisher, RYT-500, brings an enormous amount of experience and passion to her yoga classes. A yoga and meditation practitioner for twenty years, Kelly has been teaching yoga in the Washington, DC area for the past 8 years. Kelly is a Certified Anusara™ Yoga Teacher and continues to study with John Friend, Douglas Brooks, and Sally Kempton to deepen her connection with Anusara Yoga and her students. An Anusara-Inspired™ teacher, Katie Myer, RYT-200, has spent over 800 hours studying primarily with John Friend, Douglas Brooks, Suzie Hurley, Kate Miller, and Naomi Gottlieb-Miller. This is an exciting opportunity for the CHY kula to share in Kelly’s and Katie’s passion for yoga.
Kelly will join Kate Miller and Naomi Gottlieb-Miller as the third Certified Anusara Yoga™ Teacher at CHY. Capitol Hill Yoga’s Stacey DeGrasse, Betsy Poos, and Tara Lemerise welcome Katie as the fourth Anusara-Inspired™ yoga teacher.
